Storage VPS: 2 TB Black Friday 2020 offer from Hosthatch

In this post, I will share my experience and early thoughts on a 2 TB Storage server by Hosthatch. Learn about this Black Friday 2020 offer and soms benchmarks.

Hosthatch had posted their offer for storage and VPS’es during Black Friday 2020. I had just cancelled their VPS in London (which at 15 US dollars was a steal, but I was in for a positively pleasant surprise!). Read on for benchmark results.

Early Impressions

on LowEndTalk, there were several discussions about the provisioning time (and delay) for the Black Friday 2020 offers from Hosthatch. But I had a positive experiecne with them overall, and am looking forward to using this VPS. Following the benchmarks, I tried to install NextCloud, and then using netboot.iso to install disk encryption.I ran into problems each time- a topic for a different post. For now, this VPS has alpine linux running
