Server benchmarking involves running various tests on a server to measure its performance and identify any bottlenecks. Let us understand some of these tools and their significance.
My choice for laptop was the Coconics Enabler budget laptop when I embarked on my journey to support “Make in India” products. This was in March 2021, I was looking for a device was budget-friendly yet deliverd efficient companion for my writing and creative consulting work. Three years down the line, my experience has been a roller-coaster of highs and lows, leading to some crucial learnings about purchasing budget laptops in India. I hope to shed some light on what you can expect from budget laptops like the Coconics Enabler and others in the sub-20,000 INR category.

I purchased a new laptop in early January 2022, after much deliberation it turned out to be a Ryzen Powered Lenovo Thinkpad E14. Read my first impressions and review of this Linux on Thinkpad. The AMD Ryzen R5 5600U is a snappy processor, and so far I am happy with it* In a way,this beings things back to a full circle: My first laptop back in 2001 was also a Thinkpad. Below are its specifications and benchmark results from the Gen 3 Ryzen powered Lenovo Thinkpad.

This post on performance benchmark of greencloud vps storage server was originally published in December 2021. Back then, following black Friday deal in 2021, I had taken a three-year subscription for Greencloud VPS in Singapore. An offer was posted by them on Low and talk. I had run bench.monster script back, then, in 2024 I ran YABS – Yet Another Benchmarking Script on this server. My aim was to test to see if there was any change in the performance of this particular server over time.
