Linux on Coconics Enabler Laptop – Passable machine with low specs

In May and June 2021, I consolidated the data and upgraded the old computers in the household. I also upgraded the computers during this process. This post covers the upgrade to the disk on the Coconics enabler laptop. And the performance checks I conducted using the hdparm command. This test is one of the useful tests to check disk speeds and performance. The following summarizes my testing from that period and some modifications I made. Performance of Greencloud VPS Storage Server, Singapore

This post on performance benchmark of greencloud vps storage server was originally published in December 2021. Back then, following black Friday deal in 2021, I had taken a three-year subscription for Greencloud VPS in Singapore. An offer was posted by them on Low and talk. I had run bench.monster script back, then, in 2024 I ran YABS – Yet Another Benchmarking Script on this server. My aim was to test to see if there was any change in the performance of this particular server over time.
