The title of Swastainable Podcast is a play on words on the two words. “Swasta” means economical or cost effective, and “Swastha” means healthy. In other words, this show will highlight how businesses can benefit in multiple ways by promoting and practicing sustainable processes. This will be a twice a month interview based show, where we will interview CXOs, academicians, leaders of think tanks and nonprofits who will offer their views on how they interpret sustainability as it relates to their respective organizations, both in strategic and operational terms.

We will take the audience beyond the 3 R’s of leading a sustainable life- reduce- reuse and recycle. The 4th “R” stands for Regeneration, that is, restoring and reviving systems, ecosystems and lifestyles that have been adversely affected due to modern day consumption oriented lifestyles. This fortnightly show will take the audience to different parts of the country and explore how the so called alternative lifestyles can become mainstream again.
