Introduction

The first step in planning a 60 day daily blogging streak is to set achievable goals. You need to decide what your goals are for the blogging streak. Are you doing it to increase traffic to your website, build your brand, or just for personal growth?

My goal for my 60 Day Blogging challenge is to get back into the habit of writing every day, and publishing a new blog post on this blog consistently.

Identifying Milestones

Once you have decided on your goals, you need to break them down into smaller, achievable goals. Set realistic targets for the number of blog posts you want to publish each week, and make sure you have enough topics to cover for the duration of the challenge.

I aim to publish for six days every week, and each day has a different theme. This will help to keep the content fresh and interesting for the audience. It does require extra effort while developing the editorial calendar, which we will discuss in the next segment.

Creating an Editorial Calendar

An editorial calendar is a tool that helps you plan and organize your blog content. It helps you stay on track and ensures you have a steady stream of content to publish. When planning your 60 day daily blogging streak, you need to create an editorial calendar to help you organize your content. This calendar should include the topics you want to cover, the dates you plan to publish them, and any other relevant information.

I have created a spreadsheet that has over 100 topics for blog posts, with atleast 12 topics for each of the six categories. This helps me set a stretch goal of publishing 100 posts, something which I will discuss in a separate post.

Seek help wherever possible

During my first ever week long blogging challenge, I had joined the Problogger writing challenge. It was very helpful in understanding what it means to write and publish every day, stay honest with our goals, and most importantly, the thrill of seeing others prospering alongwith you! Tip: Use AI imaging tools for adding images for your blog posts. It is a creative way to stay motivated during this very creative process.

Staying Motivated

Staying motivated throughout the 60 day daily blogging streak can be challenging. However, there are ways to keep your motivation levels high. One effective way is to track your progress. Record the number of blog posts you publish each day, and the wordcount. You can also join a blogging challenge group or find an accountability partner to keep you motivated. Finally, remember to take breaks when you need to. Life happens.

Make the Challenge Enjoyable

A blogging challenge is a great way for authors and bloggers to improve their writing productivity and focus. A daily or weekly challenge can helps writers meet their word count goals effectively and consistently. By setting a goal of writing a certain amount of words each day, it helps authors stay motivated and productive while they are working on their blog posts or books. Additionally, it can help them develop better writing habits, such as making sure they have an outline before starting to write, or doing research for the topics they are writing about. With regular practice, the challenge can help authors become more efficient in their work and reach their daily word count goals faster.

Conclusion

In conclusion, planning a 60 day daily blogging streak requires setting achievable goals, creating an editorial calendar, and staying motivated. By following these tips, you can successfully complete the challenge and improve your blogging skills. Remember, consistency is key when it comes to blogging.
